Sharing Gratitude for a Sustainable Year
2024 has been an exciting year for sustainability at Yogi. Our projects connected us to thousands of farmers, converted acres of farmland to regenerative practices, and elevated communities worldwide. We even received recognition for this work (Marie Claire’s Sustainable Drinks Brand of the Year—NBD), and we’re well-positioned for another impactful year in 2025.
In keeping with the season of gratitude and celebration, we’d like to thank those who helped us reach these accomplishments.
For constantly raising the bar, sharing knowledge, and bringing people together, we’re very grateful to our industry collaborators: The Ethical Tea Partnership, Sustainable Spices Initiative, Sustainable Herbs Initiative, and the One Step Closer packaging collaborative are all amazing organizations mobilizing industries to do better.
Then there are our suppliers. If you’re a frequent reader of this blog, you’ve heard us profess an abundance of gratitude for farmers in Madagascar planting spice trees to rebuild after a devastating hurricane season and cardamom growers in Guatemala advancing rainforest-friendly farming practices—to name only a few. But they deserve the repeat praise! We really couldn’t uphold our promise to do better for the planet and its people without their extraordinary commitment to the impactful work that they do.

At Yogi HQ, the responsibility of sustainability isn’t limited to the sustainability team, either. Our packaging teams, in Italy and Oregon, work tirelessly to minimize our impact on the environment; facilities managers in our operations are relentless in their pursuit of minimizing our carbon footprint; even our logistics managers rework distribution routes, saving tons of carbon every year. Everyone at Yogi contributes, and we’re grateful for their enthusiasm to share this responsibility.
Last but never least, we’d like to thank you, the tea-drinkers. When you choose Yogi, you become a part of our successes and progress. You guide and motivate us—you quite literally keep us going. Every box of Yogi sold is a little piece of the movement we’re creating towards a sustainable, equitable tea world, and we—all of us in this global community of changemakers —are grateful for your support.
